Larry Rabold started the firm in 1990 by providing business and personal tax services to a wide range of clientele. He founded the firm on strong values, excelling in the commitment to provide great personal service. He strives to listen well and become attentive to the clients’ needs.

History

Larry Rabold started the firm in 1990 by providing business and personal tax services to a wide range of clientele. He founded the firm on strong values, excelling in the commitment to provide great personal service. He strived to listen well and become attentive to the clients’ needs.

The business has grown mostly by word of mouth with clients telling friends of their satisfaction. Our firm now serves mostly small businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals whose needs include tax advice/preparation, payroll and accounting. It is the goal of each employee to work together, so that our team can provide first class service for our clients.

Due to of Larry’s extensive knowledge and personal experience, the firm has a strong business and entrepreneurial sense which is evident by proudly serving the Central Pennsylvania area for over 25 years.

Derek M. Rabold, CPA

PRESIDENT & CPA

Derek Rabold, CPA is an accountant who joined Bold Accounting Services in 2013. He is responsible for working on individual and business tax clients. With his specialty in technology, he also helps with QuickBooks accounting and the implementation of the payroll procedures. Derek Rabold also has provided a succession plan for the future ownership of our firm.

Derek M. Rabold, CPA is an accountant who joined Bold Accounting Services in 2013. He began his career in the audit department at Herbein + Company, Inc. where he worked for eight years upon graduating from Shippensburg University.

As an accountant at Bold Accounting Services, he is responsible for working on individual and some business tax clients. With his specialty in technology, he also helps with QuickBooks accounting and the implementation of the payroll procedures.

Derek and his wife enjoy playing ultimate frisbee and camping/hiking in their free time. They have three children (two boys and a girl) that keep them pretty busy. Derek also enjoys playing golf and watching movies.

Sherry is a Payroll Tax Preparer, who joined Bold Accounting Services in July, 1992.

Sherry previously worked as a staff accountant for Big A Auto Parts. As a Payroll Tax Preparer, she takes a responsibility in filing and reconciling the escrow account on a quarterly basis with the Federal, State and Local Agencies.
